Fortunately, in this case, rescuers from the Centre for Orangutan Protection (COP) were able to locate this little one and rescue him. Although sad, the little orangutan is now in a rehabilitation center where he will develop the necessary skills to one day return to the wild.

All orangutans need to be free and have there place to stay and live and be safe that's the best hug and kiss for them

Those eyes!!! How precious at least the family adored the baby! But I'm glad it's rescued.

I’m so glad the baby is able to live a free life and is safe. But it’s also sad because the kids appeared to really love him and it’s sad they don’t fully understand why it’s not good for him. Their parents on the other hand, probably knew this could happen so in the process they hurt the baby and their kids at the same time. Kids can get attached really easily whether it’s an animal, a person or even a toy.

I know he's better off in the wild, but he didn't exactly look unhappy with the family. I believe they really loved him. I'm glad he's going back into the wild though.

Those precious eyes have seen so much pain and horror. God please give him/her a loving chance. It seems as if the family cared for him.
