I'm 60 and lived through the pirate scene in London in the late 80s/90s ,it's the most real to life series I've ever seen.

I find it funny that PJDN used TBD as an inspiration and actually made it ten times better. Killer was just a little fraggle on the pirate scene briefly and is a little upset they took the piss.

The early PJDN episodes were a straight parody of Tower Block Dreams. Pretty sure that wasthe intention? It then grew into it's own thing?

My theory would be they didn’t want to mention the inspiration when smaller being scared of any repercussions legal or physical (we can see from the interview that lad isn’t opposed to violence to send a message)

But then eventually got so big they weren’t concerned of either

Top man Joey. I can totally see why you and Brian are friends, real geezers with no bs. Love it lad. Much love

I remember tower block dreams , it followed skinnyman in one episode

Absolutely loving this channel Joey mate

THIS IS MY FUCKIN FAVOURITE SHOW CMON

K was the original nuttah

They need to pay their dues here I think.

He should ABSOLUTELY be treated like a comedy character.

What if I said I could double it?

I remember those clips from years ago on lowdowntv. Seapa, Paradox and beats were active on the uk hip hop scene back then. I remember seeing pjdn for the first time and instantly recognised them.

Deffo towerblock dreams even got the same bird

Parody.....brilliant

Did you just say it's one of your fravourite shows....

"FRAVOURITE"!!! 😂😂😂😂

Well I’ve never heard of either of these shows, but they look nearly identical to me.!!! If I was the real people, I’d be suing them, as they’ve obviously made a killing by stealing their life and taking the piss out of it.!!! Na I’d be making them pay up.!!!

I just watchd the first episode and when they go into the pirate radio station with sloth there's I think  Kuruption scratched into the wall just as rheynpan out from the 1210s

You need to do This country, along with People just do nothing it's probably the greatest tv show the BBC have ever made.

Yeah, it’s like the film Airplane. That was copied almost shot for shot and word by word.
