I mentioned it in my first video about Véronique Cloutier. That famous interview from February 5, 2006, on Tout le monde en parle, where Véronique publicly discussed what had happened with her father, Guy Cloutier.

I also told you that despite all my searching
I had never been able to find it.

Well
 I found it.

And of course, I watched it. Twice, in fact.

But after searching for this interview for so long, I have to confess something: I was left wanting more.

In this video, I present some excerpts and, above all, what I noticed: Véronique's answers, her silences, the way she talks about her father
but also the way Guy A. Lepage conducts the interview.

Because the further I watched, the more a question kept coming back to me:

Why were certain questions never asked of her?

What was her actual relationship with Nathalie Simard? What did she ask her father after learning what he had done? Did she speak directly to Nathalie? These are some of the questions that, in my opinion, would have allowed us to delve much deeper.

I want to make one important point clear: I don't claim to know what Véronique knew at the time. In fact, I make that very clear in the video: I don't know. I deliberately distinguish what the interview reveals from my own impressions.

But twenty years later, now that I finally have this interview in front of me, I can tell you one thing:

What struck me most is perhaps not what Véronique said
but everything that was never said.

Now it's up to you to form your own opinion.

Welcome to **Open Book**.

My name is Nancie. Here, I tell you true stories. Stories that have changed the world... or should have. I'm interested in celebrities, of course... but also in scandals, human tragedies, injustices, disasters, major trials, historical events... and all those stories we too often end up forgetting.

I'm from Quebec... but I don't limit myself to Quebec. Through my research, my life experience, and my perspective as a woman, I simply share my understanding of the events that shape our society.

I don't claim to hold the truth, far from it. I simply want to open up the discussion. As always, I love reading your comments and hearing your opinions. Your reflections enrich the discussions and often bring perspectives I hadn't considered.

The heart of my project isn't politics or even current events. On this channel, we talk about celebrities, trials, news stories, historical events, social issues, public figures, forgotten cases, and topics that continue to spark debate. I tell these stories with my own perspective, my own emotions, my own experiences, and my own questions. Because to learn, you have to understand. And to understand, you sometimes have to take the time to look beyond the headlines. I am not affiliated with any political party. I favor frank discussions, archives, testimonies, documents, and critical analysis based on my research, observations, and experience. For me, no subject is off-limits when you open a history book, a forgotten file, or a page of our collective memory.
