"When you use the same joke over and over again over 30 chapter, the gag will get old" . I think Brook doesn't see eye to eye with you.. because he doesn't have any eyes yohohohohoho

I loved the triangle with Reileigh, Roger and Shakki. It basically ended up with Roger going "Look. She's not interested in me. You've gotta tap that for the both of of us."

The only thing that Oda hates more than "Romance" is Mothers..

The only complicated triangle Oda’s ever written is the Florian Triangle.

Oda saying he doesnt know how to make a good romance and then making Kuma s story is kinda funny in a sad way, that was the best display of romance in the entire manga for me.

I think the Pudding/Sanji romance being as long as it was, is fine because that length of time increases the impact of Pudding altering Sanji's memories at the end of it. Not only did she let Sanji go, but she also removed herself from his life while simultaneously accepting herself. That matters.

Something funny I noticed is that in the beginning of Dressrosa, in regards to his brother getting beat up, Sai states that in order to master Hasshoken he has to rid himself of all emotional attachments. But as soon as he leans into an emotional attachment, Baby 5 of course, he masters it and beats Lao G

Shakky predicted Hancock falling in love with Luffy. Now that is some Advanced Observation Haki.

0:11 so important because you know the Netflix crew would’ve set up romantic tension without the first 3 episodes

0:46 i would NOT call hancock a yandere
In fact she is like the furthest thing from a yandere
Yanderes are characterised by their possessiveness over who they love. And in a lot of cases to the point of physically hurting their loved ones bringing them joy

Hancock is a lot closer to a deredere, where a character acts all lovey dovey in front of who they love
The dere types fan wiki lists hancock as 'shittodere' which is basically deredere + jealousy. Hancock does not have the hyperpossessive, twisted, slightly or full on crazy traits that yanderes are known for

1:37 What the helllllll

Jokes aside Can't believe one piece is literally in his mouth

I like how Toriyama was willing to admit that he wasn’t good at writing romance. He elected instead to do a little setup onscreen and have the rest develop during time skips.

It's a "Romance dawn" if i say 😂

The inevitable scene of Sanji rescuing Pudding from BB is going to be incredible

Puddin this aside .. did you know notice when shanks said that he was disgusted of what he saw there bellow ( meaning common people  (shamrocks thought) was actually shanks talking about the slaves in mariejoes) .. Am I the only one thinking about that ?

Jinbe: "Did you think I would falter? The man who I have chosen to follow will surely be king of the pirates someday. I can't be intimidated by a mere Emperor of the Sea! My pledge renenounced, I now officially depart from the Big Mom Pirates. I thank you for the generosity that you've shown me." 🦈😎

Big Mom: 😶

Big Moms Crew: 👀👀👀

Guys!!! Here me out..out of nowhere i juts realized it's not Catarina Devon.. it's Catarina D Von..

boa hancock knows she got the plot love interest armour so shes chill

Oda seems to take the "only good love is a unselfish one" method to love in the manga. Where the love is good because its for building up your partner rather then for their own self worth. Rodger's quick switch to wingman showed that while he was infatuated, it was from a position of wanting to give her the world. And if all she would take was his best friend, Rodger would happily do so. This actually fixed any bad taste that I had earlier in the flashback.
Not only that but regularly oda is not afraid of love and regularly showcases it, but he just doesn't prioritize romantic love. One piece is a very lovey dovey manga, just not romantically charged as thr priority. Like everyone in their world is perfectly fine with gestures and showcases of love because the whole world respects it as equally to romantic specific love.

1:11 Hancock had gone Big Mom! Never go full Big Mom!
