Welcome aboard, explorers! 🚐 Today we're taking you to a place straight out of a dream, a wild island where history collides with a natural paradise.
If you think Sardinia is "just" dream beaches, you haven't seen Asinara yet! 🌴✨ On this new journey, we're embarking from Stintino to explore an island that's a crazy mix of tropical paradise and thrilling stories.
We boarded a minivan in the heart of the Natural Park, driven by Giuliana, an amazing marine biologist (spoiler alert: it's not sponsored, we really love her! 😂), who introduced us to white donkeys, wild horses, and the Sea Turtle Rescue Center 🐢 (watch out for plastic, kids!).
But that's not all: we entered Fornelli, the Italian Alcatraz, a former maximum security prison where history can be felt in every empty corridor... an absurd contrast with the wild beauty of the surrounding nature. And to top it off? A swim in the crystal-clear water of Cala Sabina, which almost makes the Caribbean seem like a distant memory, and a spectacular sunset at "Coscia di Donna" (the place, don't get me wrong!) with a fresh lemon Ichnusa. 🍋🍺
