This time, we're handling the sorting of belongings at the home of an aunt who passed away suddenly.

Even before her death, her home was filled with a great deal of belongings. The family began cleaning up themselves, but encountered difficulties with disposing of large items and sorting, leading them to contact Eevee for assistance.

The house contained important documents such as personal pension and life insurance policies, as well as bankbooks and seals, making it difficult to find what was needed.

Respecting the client's wish to "not simply remove things, but to carefully organize and select what is important," our staff meticulously searched for valuable items.

Since the aunt was a calligraphy teacher, a large quantity of calligraphy supplies were found. These were not to be thrown away, but rather passed on to her students and fellow teachers.

In the latter half of the video, we also demonstrate a simple "window sill cleaning technique" using a used sponge.

Through this sorting of belongings, we were reminded once again of the importance of "pre-death organization."

This video discusses the importance of thoughtful actions you can take now and sharing the latest information to prevent your surviving family members from becoming exhausted by the procedures and cleanup. Please watch until the end.

[Situation at the Site]
Background of the Request: The house where your aunt had been living alone for about 17 years (request from a relative)
Amount of Belongings: The rooms on the second floor were so full that there was no room to move (removal by garbage truck in a small house)
Main Features: Valuables such as cash, bankbooks, and keys were scattered throughout the house, and there was a large amount of calligraphy equipment and artwork.
Challenges: Thorough search for important documents that have not been found (personal pension insurance, life insurance, etc.), sorting and removal of large waste items (futons, blankets, etc.) whose disposal destination the bereaved family does not know.
