Thank you so much, ZJ, for sharing your journey and the helpful tips on getting into Cambridge! Your insights really made a difference and gave me inspiration and confidence. I truly appreciate the effort you put into making this video and helping others like me. You're amazing!

Thank you so much for this video. I found this extremely helpful. I really hope I can get into Cambridge!

Quick, easy to understand, and straight to the point. Thanks for the useful video!

Thank you so much!! I wish you and Hercules the best of luck on 14th August (not that you guys would need it)🤞

Don’t listen to random students claiming they know how to get into Oxbridge.

Every student experience is different, and everyone will have a different set of skills and knowledge to use. Pretending there’s a secret trick to get in is false, and unhelpful to those applying.

This guy did it. But nobody can copy what he did. That’s the entire point. Be yourself, be competent, be passionate and you will have the strongest chance.

If you don’t get in, that’s also fine. We’re not the centre of the universe. It’s one of 5 UCAS choices, your other 4 will be great too!

Thanks for the video ZJ! Always great advice being given, I hope I can manage to get in just like you🤞

Thanks for the video! Even though I'm planning on applying for Maths, the insights were very helpful. Could you guys make a video on how to tackle the interview, especially for problem-solving based subjects? Loving the content!

Oxford officially discontinued the PAT (along with MAT, TSA, and five other in-house tests) in January 2026, for the 2027 entry cycle onward. Physics, Physics and Philosophy, and Engineering Science applicants now sit the ESAT instead. Oxford's own Physics department page states this directly and gives the ESAT date as 12-16 October 2026 for your cycle

So useful, thanks!

This is so insightful 👏

Thank you sm for this!

Cambridge engineering is one of my dreams and your videos are very helpful. Thank you!! 😊

Can they ask about topics in the interview that we still havent passed in A levels (because we are supposed to finish the program only in april, where as the interview is in october.) Do they like expect us to know even though we still havent passed it or what?😭 Thank you very much for the video by the way!!

Hey ZJ, really insightful video. I would love to hear from Hercules and how he got his maths offer! Looking forward!

Hey ZJ, thank you so much for all your advice. I found your videos so useful and thanks for giving me so many tips and tricks. I was just wondering how did you craft your personal statement so it included aerospace and mechanical engineering, as it can be hard to fit into the 4000 characters allocated?

From your video i’ve learned 1 cool thing. If you want to be the best, you should to have asian friends)

This was really helpful. Thank you so much.. I've taken the same combo as you apart from chemistry. Do you think taking a language as a 4th subject may impact my application?

Which Cambridge college are you going to?

Hi, what subject combination would be best for land econ at Cambridge, GCSE subjects are Maths, Physics, Chem, Bio, English Lit, English Language, CS, French, German. Thanks ❤

Did you read the full 600 something pages of Classical Mechanics? Respect!
