That childhood nickname clearly meant more than anyone in the room realized… 👀

Mystery of Ricky Solved, for those that hate unfinished Stories....

Shortly after their Wedding, a Guest Sent a Letter...

It began with the typical Formal Greetings, then proceeded with her recollection of a Summer many many Years ago, When She was the Nanny of the Duke at their Family Summer Estate... That Summer, You being the Little Master at age 7, decided to play on the Beach shore every day for the entire Summer... and that very same Summer there was a  Girl around age 6 that was staying at a Cottage for the Summer with her Grandmother... She would be on the Beach building Sandcastles  right along side of you for the entire Summer, and She called you Ricky... I believe that little Girl was Miss Ashford...

Fascinating story. Fate can bring beautiful outcomes. Very well done.

The mistry of nickname remains

Great story and narrator. I appreciate the smooth narrative with all the correct word choices and clearly enunciated words. Thanks from Long Island, New York.

Just find the connection between the nurse and margret

A duke would never have made a public speech like that. Too far fetched. He also made it sound like his delay damaged him as well but it didn't. She was the one who suffered from the gossip.

Nice story

❤❤❤

I did not like the “mystery” being left in the supernatural setting. A simple backstory of two children would have been more tender.

Not resolving the name issue takes away from the story. The whole story is based on a nonexistent thing. No thanks.

Very silly story
