This actually gave me a lot of confidence seeing that even the pros in the games struggle with new cars or tracks at the beginning

LMU have this very weird behavior with LMP2, where TC basically does not work at low speeds. The car just do a burnout on the low speed corners and it's infuriating

People often scoff at ELMS for being a "dentist series". But if LMU is anything to go by the LMP2 and LMP3'S are not that easy to drive. To me it's a lot more pure then the hypercars. It's all about driver skill and strategy (and a healthy dose of luck). I still very much suck at LMU and stay offline untill I get more confident. But I'm slowly getting there.

and here i thought it was just me that was the problem - i tried LMP2 for the 1st time last night and couldn't figure out the braking points or the cold tires! I survived my 1st race but i was over 5 seconds slower per lap than all of the cars ahead of me! LOL!

i find lmp2 easier than gt3 due to it wanting to stay on the track lol

you're using too low of a gear in most turns.  thats why you're slow on entry and having trouble on exits.  also you need to turn your wheel a bit more in the slow stuff.  you kind of need to abuse the grip with these cars.

Don't know what wb you're on or what you've got for settings, but you have some major clipping going on

6:30 i don't know if this will help at all, but i find (in Moza terms, but you can convert that to any) LMU has a weird tendency to rely on "Inertia" in Wheel software settings.  It has none naturally (unlike many sims), in Moza terms that meaning the setting which adds build up of resistance on turn in essentially, but if you setup a tiny bit in the reason it works so well is because its FFB is for some reason designed to subtract from that (most games add, LMU subtracts), which gives a good amount of feel.  In most games this is turned down, as its a extra buffer but it helps in LMU.  I'm a slow newbie tho, but something i noticed and MAYBE it helps?
