Brah Split Second?

Outrun 2006 was all kinds of awesome.

Pure was a phenomenal game. The track layouts, the sense of speed, and ATV customization were well done. Not a bad soundtrack also.

Fuel for xbox 360 and PS3 was pretty cool

Split second is so underrated that it doesn’t appear even on underrated lists lol

Split Second has to be my favorite racing game ever. Such a shame we never got a second game.

R: racing evolution not mentioned , banger music, gameplay, pressure system, EVERYTHING

Pure is so underrate! Wasted hours on it going for stupid combos. Looks amazing (still), controls great and is just fun. Shame it never got a sequel.

Blur was my favorite racing game back in the day, I miss it

Ridge Racer DS is actually a port of Ridge Racer 64, but with Mario-themed cars added.

Also, Vanishing Point's Dreamcast version is NOT a port. It was made for the Dreamcast first and then got ported to PS1.

Other than that, good video as always.

Blur was as good as it always 'looks like' I miss that game so much.

Quick reminder that DriveClub is finally playable on PC with the ShadPS4 emulator. On the surface its " just a track racer" but iam having so much fun finally being able to experience it :)

Blur will aways be the best. 20 players lobbies in a mario kart style game for 2010 was goated

I’d also like to mention Nail'd. It’s a smaller arcade ATV racing game from 2010 that most people - especially outside of Europe - probably aren't familiar with. It’s by the Polish studio Techland, the creators of Dead Island and Call of Juarez. The game is very similar to Pure, just a bit simpler; for example, there were no tricks, but it was an absolute blast, especially if you just wanted to kick back and relax.

I'd said Vanishing Point name obviously makes reference to the near-absence of popping, accomplished making turns every 50 centimeters.

Driveclub is SO underrated. Cinematic experience, great car selection, amazing weather realism, graphics still looking gorgeous. All the while being less strict/more fun than Forza Motorsport, and less overwhelming and gimmicky than Forza Horizon. It's the perfect sweet spot for a racing game. AND nowadays you can play it with an emulator at 8K
