This song was HUGE when it released

"Not Gonna Get Us" is another banger. T.a.t.u is like what being a thirsty teenager sounds like

The twist at the end of the video is brilliant, showing that the two women are free and the disapproving onlookers are the ones that are trapped.

I remember their MTV Award show performance… now that was a statement

AFTER 24 YEARS THIS SONG STILL A BANGER

The song was released in 2000. In Russian. An English adaptation followed in 2002.

TaTu are from Russia and they have had a great career. Their songs are very catchy

Forgot how spicy that video was for 2002.

Russian/original Version sounds also nice.

It's even better in the original Russian.

Technically, this is not Tatu's original version of All The Things She Said. If you want to watch the real original, it's called "Ya Soshla S Uma". It literally means "I have lost my mind" If you notice in this version, you don't see the girls actually singing that much. Because it is dubbed. Lena and Yulia DID record the English version of the song (that IS them singing), trained by professional vocal coaches, as they did not speak English at the time. So if you want the real authentic version of the song, listen to it in Russian 🙂

The girls take an absolute credit for the performance of this song, especially when you consider the fact that English is not their native language. They sing it with so much emotions, which makes the song even better.
However, it is worth noticing that this song is, almost entirely, the work of famous British producer Trevor Horn ("Video Killed the Radio Star"). He was the girls' producer for their English albums, he coached them to sing properly in English (almost without any accent), he wrote completely new lyrics because he couldn't use literal translation from Russian and he re-recorded the instrumental part, giving its distinctive pop/rock vibe, playing all the instruments during recording, although he is bass player himself.
A banger? Understatement. F**king masterpiece.
Trivia: For the title and part of the chorus Horn borrowed, so to speak, from word to word, the title of an older song by the legendary Scottish band Simple Minds. It's not a cover, only the title is exactly the same, it's on their album from the mid-80s "Once Upon a Time".

All about us is a great track too. Even better video.

honestly as a russian love them sm, but also was very surprised, when they were booming

Takes me back to my early 20's. I had their first two albums and loved them. Now being almost 44, they're still together and I still love them. Pure nostalgia.

This was all over MTV back in the day!!

this song is my complete childhood it was on REPEAT on MTV a classic!!!

Great song. It really does a solid job, talking about forbidden love, but also there's a smidge of mental health elements too, with feelings of anxiety and isolation.

Watch the Russian version - lyrics are so much smoother...and translation doesn't do justice. "Ya Soshla S Uma"
