My brother had an issue with his PC and he thought it was his GPU. Recently you posted a video similar to the situation he was experiencing, followed the same trouble shooting methods you used and it turned out to be faulty ram. There were a bunch of other weird issues though that didn't point to a ram issue. I wish I could've had it in this fix or flop series, nonetheless it's because of your videos that I managed to fix his PC, so thank you.

Subscriber here. Watch all your videos like crazy and you and others on youtube have taught me a lot. I had an ebay broken pc deal last year, $150 and free shipping for a non-working ibuypower pc with an amd ryzen 5 cpu, 16 gigs ddr4 ram, 650 watt psu, 1 tb ssd, and a 1660 ti video card. Turned out it was the cpu cooling fan was not working at all. System Starts up and shuts down in one second. I replaced the cooler with a new one and viola, pc worked like a charm. I then flipped it on craigslist for $350. Keep these videos coming.

Love you're videos. The fix or Flop series helped me pass my A+ Certification. I paused the video and read the email from the "customer" and tried to guess the issue. Posted this video on my Facebook to try and get other people that want to learn to fix their own PC. I'm sure no one will be disappointed. Keep doing what your doing.

The wiring to the front panel buttons gave me flashbacks when I had to connect them on my first pc I remember thinking that I broke them cause they were seated mildly weirdly

I got a supposedly 'broken' prebuilt with a ryzen chip (think it was a 1600af), 16gigs, 500gb ssd, and a 1050ti for 50 bucks. I thought: "Hey, if its broken, I atleast could flip the parts alone for profit!". Turns out, the only thing wrong was a dead CMOS battery that somehow prevented the system from posting? Ended up giving it to a friend! He upgraded later on (don't recall exactly what), and it's still running good after 4 years.

A really nice and positive video. Thank you Greg! That PC, even though it's not a powerhouse, can have a very decent life either as a kids PC, a server, a HTPC, so it's far from being worthless.
