Don't Be Lazy With Your Soul: Faith, Patience, and Perseverance to the End | Sugel Michelén
Many believers go through seasons when they wonder if they can truly persevere to the end. They feel cold, stagnant, overwhelmed by temptations, tired of waiting, unsure of their salvation, or discouraged by their spiritual slowness. This message, based on Hebrews 6, presents a biblical, pastoral, and deeply needed teaching on Christian perseverance, spiritual diligence, laziness of the soul, the assurance of salvation, and the hope that feeds on God's promises. Scripture seriously warns us against apostasy, but it also encourages true believers not to lose heart, reminding them that perseverance is the visible evidence of divine preservation. Grace is not opposed to effort; it is opposed to merit. Therefore, believers must diligently care for their souls using the means God has provided: the Word, prayer, fellowship, the Lord's Supper, edifying fellowship, and meditation on biblical promises. But this diligence cannot be separated from faith and patience. God often shapes our character through waiting, as He did with Abraham, Elijah, Martha, Mary, and so many other witnesses of faith. If you have been spiritually lazy, if you have neglected prayer, Bible reading, fellowship with the church, or hope in God's promises, this message calls you to repent, believe in Christ's forgiveness, and rise again. Our hope is not in the strength of our own hands, but in Christ, the Great Shepherd of the sheep, who entered behind the veil for us and sustains His own to the end. Do not remain prostrate in guilt. Lift up your drooping hands, strengthen your weak knees, and run again with faith, patience, and diligence, resting in the promises sealed by the blood of the eternal covenant.

Bendiciones
