Fun fact Nosferatu was based off Bram Stokers novel Dracula when the 1920's movie was first thought of the creators wanted to make a Dracula movie and so they contacted Stokers widow and asked for permissions she declined and they decided to rip the absolute fuck out of the book, him, and her and create Nosferatu which is basically the same exact thing as the book, but the characters are named different and they look kinda different and in Stokers novel he gave Dracula a mustache because Dracula is based on a Romanian leader named Vlad Dracula also known as Vlad the Impaler and the vampire is a metaphor for lust, sin, and the love of murder
