I visited there about 15 years. Basically it was a nightmare. Horrible place. We couldn’t wait to leave. x

Aye experienced both Egypt and Turkey, constant non stop harassment, gets you down. Egyptian sellers the worse. Excellent content as always ❤

Been here years ago and debated the place. Constant begging con artists and touts ruining the experience. I will never ever return to that hell hole. The government doesn’t care. I’ll bet not a lot of tourists return

Never fancied going to Egypt or Turkey after hearing stories from friends and work colleagues who've been there regarding the hassle you get in the shops and markets. Once you've seen the concrete Toblerones there's not much to see or do in Egypt. Best to stay in the hotel complex where everything is there for you and it's much safer, no hassle.

I’m with you on this Paul. I walk straight past anyone outside who stops you to ask you to come inside. If I want a meal or a drink I’ll weigh it up first, look at the menu and then decide.

My partner and I have been to Naam bay a few times and it was fantastic. If you go into old Sharm it is great especially during Ramadam.

I spent two hours in the old market Sharm el sheik last night and was harassed by every shop you can’t even walk past without them ask for you to buy stuff I came close to punching one of them it’s takes the piss would never go to that hell hole again

Thanks for video Paul👍..Brought a lot of memories back when walking through same shopping area..Jeez oh before I knew it went got stepped along in the hustle and bustle..before we knew it we ended up in this shop in the rear getting pressure to buy perfumes etc..I Had to be quite forceful and told them we were leaving 💪💪..It is an experience like nothing else 🤪🤪

Some countries in North Africa and elsewhere are a pain if you want to do any shopping. Because it's their culture to deal with potential customers like that they don't realise that it's off-putting to many Westerners and probably loses them sales. Thankfully we're not big shoppers on holiday so will try to avoid the hassle when we're in Tunisia later this year.
