Chris Ryan drafting DHWAV #1 overall is both shocking and LEGENDARY.

@1:11:36 the way Griffin stares at David as he says "big-ass hit" KNOWING David knows what he wanted to and almost said :)

I love that the first guy only said 4 movies

I could have written Taking of Pelham One Two Three in sharpie under Subway in David's row before the draft even started.

Incredible movie, incredibly David.

13:50 - "I can't remember, can we not be nitpicky about the details" would have been a hilarious answer.

I am not ashamed to say that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) is my favorite New York movie. Also, not drafting Coming to America is criminal.

Can’t believe no one choose Once upon a time in America. A timeless classic with an amazing score by Morricone.

I gave a standing ovation from home when Tracy Letts walked on stage to hand out blu rays to the drafters for half an hour. Incredible

As a Londoner, I'm immensely happy to see Sims absolutely smash this draft and therefore redress the 240-plus years of shame brought upon the UK by America's independence.

Best Subway scene (that’s not Taking of Pelham 123) is obviously the ending of Last Days of Disco.

I get why you don't pick one of his movies but it is a kind of statement to have a New York movies podcast and not even mention Woody Allen. Erased from history apparently. I wouldn't want to bring it up on a stage either probably, but when it got to the just naming movies part of the show the lack of even a mention was all I could think about.
