Watching this made me cry so much.  What a beautiful documentary.  RIP genius.

My wife and I saw Michel perform in the eighties at the Arts Centre in Ottawa, Canada. It was one of the most beautiful concerts we have ever seen. At one point I turned to her and said: "If Mozart were alive today and playing jazz, it would sound like this."

this great man he always reminds me of toulouse touluse lautteuc. both  fantastic artists. both overcame disabilities and both great ladysmen. in paris at different times  toulouse and michel both  the ladies loved them. i wish i could have had half this mans talent.

Dopo aver conosciuto la vita di questo piccolo grande uomo, che ha fatto della sua debolezza una grandissima e straordinaria forza per sé e per gli altri, e non ha perso un minuto di tempo, non posso/non si può più sprecare il tempo e i talenti, per me/noi e per gli altri... Gli ultimi anni era arrivato a 220 concerti all'anno tutto rotto, con le ossa delle mani rotte... Dove può arrivare la Forza di volontà!!! Un'anima sconfinata in un piccolo corpo che si sottrae alle dure e impietose leggi della fisica. Un grandissimo esempio per TUTTI.

To the four who gave a thumbs down to this documentary.....perhaps you can let the world see what great talent you have. Your only talent is probably your negativity and your lack of any knowledge of un genie musical.

Michel petrucciani is one of my greatest piano idols and I'm A Guitar player lol hopefully one day I could purchase a piano or keyboard and learn his stuff not just his.. But Ray manzarek's of The Doors ❤️

...both are gone. A great musician, and a great journalist. And Michel Petrucciani and Roger Willemsen had that sens of  humor and loving humanaty in common, which is so important for everyone.

If there is musical heaven I hope all the jazz greats of the pass are playing together in some heavenly club for eternally. What a hell of a jam session that would be. When my time comes I want a front seat in that club.I know Michel Petrucciani will be there playing his heart out fully heal with no pain and making everybody laugh while he playing.
