The reason that Purah called Riju 'makeely' is because Rijus full name is Makeela Riju. I guess they decided to use Rijus other name because they couldn't use 'Rijuy' that sounds weird.

The Legend Of Riju: The quest for pants

@musicfanatic24 9 months ago

I choose to believe for this playthrough that Riju's hair kinda got mostly cut off by Ganondorf's initial attack, when the Master Sword shattered, and Rauru was like 'girl, that mess ain't gonna fly' and chose to make it look cute

@WoodlandGloom 9 months ago

I always wondered if the reasn why Ganondorf shoves his hand so far down his throat is because he has difficulty swallowing pills.

Fun fact if you didn’t know: Riju and Urbosa are voiced by the same person, Elizabeth Maxwell, she also voices the Gerardo ancestor in the flashbacks….that’s why they sound similar :_bsmntAha:

16:00 In the Japanese version of the game, Riju’s name is Makeera (マキアラ). That's why Purah called her Makeely. Someone also mentioned it's in her diary in BOTW.

"I'm the real Riju!" "No! I'm the real Riju!" "Guys, we're all the real Riju!"

"modded zelda: where two straight, grown men can gush over shoes on display in a store. women's shoes!" 😂❤

@theamagichallenge1962 9 months ago

Riju's full name is Makeela Riju so Makeely is Purah's nickname for her it's in a journal at the Yiga Hideout in Gerudo Desert. Also I'm really happy to see another character swap mod I loved the ones for Zelda, Mipha, Midna, and Linkle in BOTW all the outfit changes look amazing!

Oh my god this is peak! The gerudo are such great characters!

@thecosplaycrafter8017 9 months ago (edited)

Apparently Riju is a surname. Her given name is Makeela, thus the "Makeely" nickname from Purah.

Edit: I'm backwards. Riju is her given name and Makeela is a surname.

Reminds me of the time when I was gone from school for one day, came back, and my best friend had just assumed leader position of the friend group as if I never existed, inserted me back into a non-leading position and refused to give me my spot back because I had "abandoned:" them by being sick... Oh, childhood...
