My god the production quality has fallen since then. We didn’t realize how good we had it. These cars were so damn racey.

RIP Bill Weber man. I watch these at night to go to sleep and have purposefully been playing old NBC and TNT races for his voice for the past couple months actually

Strange seeing anything from before 2007 in HD. Nice.

Bless the memory of BP. Struggled with cancer treatments but was still loving his work . He lived in Ellerbe NC which was just up the road from us. A decent human being.

Commentary is so much better than today

Doesn’t get talked about enough how Kyle Busch was in the garage 5 laps down and finished in the top 10

This feels like going back in a Time Machine. The quality is uncanny for the era

ah so nostalgic seeing that cingular logo on jeff burton's car at this point in time

“We’ll take another quick break…”

Sums up the NASCAR on NBC years perfectly.

man look at how the photographers are standing against the wall in the esses! dangerous

That cop at the 59:53 mark 😂 got the photo man

59:53 the cop hyped on the pics that he got of June bug 🤣

This takes me back to my teen years. Amazing feeling. I genuinely appreciate this

Thank you for this post, I've never seen this race in HD that was available in 2006 for live events. Amazing quality, thank you.

The glen track rulls. This was my home track

Seeing the Busch series points top 5 be all cup drivers just shows why it’s good they made some changes now 😂😂

Ok bro you have been on gire getting 2000s races in hq! Keep it up bro! Youre doing the nascar community a huge servuce! Hope to swe some xfinity/truck/arca in the mix, maybe even Whelen mods!😊

That #29 GM Goodwrench Chevrolet was beautifully painted and designed car. Everyone always thought the outline of the car was in red but never realized it was florescent orange.

I'm going to look to see if you have Harvicks other 4 wins from 2006 in HD also. Again this was an amazing finish and amazing quality. Thanks for taking the time to post this.

As for the race, Kevin showed how good he was on the road courses as he showed numerous times in his career. When watching the race live in 2006, I remember being worried if he had enough fuel to finish bc the release valve was stuck open allowing fuel to be pushed out bc of the centrifugal force in the esses, and then the first lap or 2 after a caution, it took Kevin's car a couple laps to get the air pressure up and back up to speed. When Tony passed him, I didn't think Kevin was going to be able to get back by him, but Kevin made an amazing move from the center and off the final turn coming onto the home straight.

I'm 2006, the success Kevin had with the 29 car and RCR, I thought it was going to be the year that Kevin and RCR made the turn around for his and be successful and competitive well I'm and week out year and year, but it just wasn't too be. Ironically, Kevin's best year with RCR was his final year at the in 2013 with the most wins in one season he ever had with RCR.

I was a huge earbuardt fan and became a harvick fan instantly so I was really heartbroken when he left RCR and went to SHR, but I remained a harvick fan, and now I'm an RCR fan hoping they can get the 3 and 8 car up to the front weekly.

Thank you so much for uploading high quality NASCAR races from the mid 2000s. I swear most of the ones on YouTube look like they were recorded on a flip phone

Glad the final 2 Gen 4 road course races are available in full crisp hd. Thank you so much
