Editing plays such a role in those forest photos (which are great, also well composed). If I took photos there, they would not have the impact these do due to my lacklustre editing skills - must learn!

This is like photography in a wondrous fairy tale.

Gotta love epic sunsets

I can't tell you the number of times I've walked into a PNW forest and am soon thinking "Where's the shot?  All I see is mossy chaos."  Your tip about using a longer focal length to isolate one area will be useful.  Thanks!

Hi Nick, if you like moss covered trees, found in temperate rainforest, you'd really love a place like Tasmania. Look up places like Mount Field National park, or the Tarkine. Mount Field would be great for you as access is really easy. You don't have to hike very much to see the big trees. In mainland Australia, you also have places like that. The main one is called the Otways, about 2 hours West of Melbourne. This region is mainly known for the Great Ocean Road and the oceanscapes, but the Otway forest is nonetheless magnificent with great waterfalls, and lush forests. It is the rainiest place in Victoria.

Thank you for your great photography plus your ability to take me with you
It has been awhile for anything new i rewatch many of your videos
Hope you and your family are well

The mood in your videos is stunning!

Fellow Washington photographer here and Ihave to say these are some excellent images.

I have done this exact trip a few times before and it never gets old. Start in Quinault, then up to the Hoh rainforest, then sunset at Ruby beach, it's different almost every time and I can't get enough! Thank you for these lovely shots, they capture the feeling so much better than my mobile! ^__^    100% my favourite place on earth.

Now that was a productive day, great stuff, Nick!

Olympic National Park might be one of the more beautiful forests I've seen. You came away with some exeptional photos friend. I have a soft spot for moss cloth trees as well, and that beach.. What a day mate. Beautiful work!

These videos always make me want to go out and photograph. Thanks Nick!

Great video yet again Nick. Its a pleasure to share your magic moments.

That just might be my favorite Nick Page video! Love the forest scenes and photos. Two moss covered thumbs up.

I headed here in the next week, can't wait.

Best Line: "I was really Lichen the way the trees deep in there are looking" #mossCoveredTrees

Very nice. Wish we had waterfalls like this where I live

Just finding this video...and it is a carbon copy of my one day in ONP and Ruby Beach...I drove over from Seattle for the day...you had better light on all counts than I did though.  Enjoyed it.

Olympic NP has a special place in my heart.  Thanks for sharing your knowledge & beautiful photos.

My two favorite shots shot a of Nick are  the one of the wave and birds and the one from this Forrest you posted. Nick and Mr Heaton. My two favorite photographers.
