I bought one of these grips about 6 weeks ago agree with Roger well made and makes hand holding with the grip a more tactile experience the grip sits in the palm perfectly not associated to either Roger or Edward just a satisfied customer

It looks like a nicely made bit of kit! But I always think holding any lens like is so awkward and cumbersome, I find it far more effective to just turn the tripod foot to the top of the lens and hold the lens from underneath, give you better access to any of the switches or rings to!

Really nice. I'm feeling a little poor after buying a new camera and the 300mm Pro lens, but I'm certainly keeping this in mind.

That’s a lovely piece of work. Pity I live in Australia and things take forever to arrive. I have friends/family in UK so I know postage is a huge whack even for small items. I reckon I will have to make something from wetsuit neoprene and padding. It won’t be a piece of craftsmanship like your wooden one, but my hand won’t complain about that. 😃

Question: I like to walk with my camera & lens without a sling-strap, just holding it by the lens foot. How does this wooden piece affect that?

I'm very tempted, I've seen these on the fb groups too and they look really (hah!) handy! Have you used it much with the 300mm f4 or 100-400 at all? They both have the same lens collar as far as I can tell.

I like the idea ... but would like to try it on its comfortability compared with holding the lens .Before I was thinking to remove the stand instead .
