Keep in mind faster flow, means less time to settle into the ground. Slow flow means the water has more time to penetrate through the soil. If the water runs through a channel fast it will dig out the soil. All those leaves and such steal energy from the flow so if things start looking thirsty in the local area, stop cutting the plant life and slow the flow again.

Great video mate, at my age, watching and listening to moving water, is not good 😂😂.

The attraction of living somewhere rural is the wildlife, there is a balance to be maintained, if you are not careful you end up with a garden that is too manicured and managed .
