Kali being a gearhead is a twist even Nolan couldn't have thought up! Unreal!

Carroll Shelby said that his biggest regret is costing his friend Ken Miles the race.

Please watch Rush (2013)! It’s the insane true story of two legendary F1 drivers in the 1970s who were complete opposites. The tension, the sheer danger of racing in that era, and the incredible soundtrack by Hans Zimmer make it a perfect, edge-of-your-seat movie for a reaction.

Getting cheated out of the Triple Crown then dying is a double-whammy of sadness to end the movie

The 3 car finish absolutely happened. There's an iconic pic you can find on the internet.

Kali being a NASCAR lover was not on my bingo card. Digging the lore drop 😂

The Ferrari driver that Miles was competing against (Lorenzo Bandini) was killed at the following years Monaco GP, when his Ferrari F1 car, crashed, overturned and burst into flames. He died of his injuries in hospital. The 60's was a very dangerous time for racing drivers, as the medical facilities at the circuit, the designs of the cars and the lack of crash protection in the cars and at the circuits, made death a very real possibility if you crashed.

To this day no one has ever officially won the Triple Crown. But many consider Ken Miles the only true winner

Here's an interesting car fact for you, after leaving Ford, Lee Iaccoca went to Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth and saved the entire company, and helped design the first ever mini-van.

If you're wondering why there's so many British accents in the film, many of the Carroll's 'Shelby American' team were actually British engineers and mechanics along with Miles himself

This really was one of the best reactions to this movie I have seen so far. The understand, the love of racing, the thrill really shined through the reaction and definitely made it a great watch.

I'm glad this movie was made because people will always know that Ken Miles really won that race in Le Mans.

I love the fight scene! Batman v Jason Bourne.

I came from a family of "car people." Both my mom and my dad were car enthusiasts, and both were British. My mom racing around the countryside in England in her Mini-Cooper. Both my parent's fathers owned a motorcycle shop together about an hour outside London, so cars and motorcycles were in my blood. I'm in my 50s now (I was born and raised in the US), and I've owned over 40 cars. Lol. I say all this to say this movie was the last movie I got to see with my dad before he passed away in 2020. So it holds a special place in my heart. RIP Dad, miss you. You, too, Mom. ❤

The "fight" the two main characters have is legit one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life.

The whole scene, with the wife included, is just magic.

$200 in 1964 = $2097 in 2026.
$2097/day.

One of my dream cars is a Shelby Daytona. There’s a couple sitting in the background of a couple shots

9:14 that comment from Ken is pretty funny because they were both in WW2. Shelby was a pilot and Ken was a tanker

Sometimes it's surprising. When a certain specific reactor, is paired with a certain specific movie, the right movie for them, it’s like a match made in heaven. This is the reaction for that specific movie. Great job Kaliwali!!!

For those here who are suggesting 'Rush' and 'F1' as the right movie for to follow up 'Ford v Ferrari', I say YES, PLEASE!! Both, PLEASE!

When this movie came out I dove into a bunch of research. The biggest change that was made is that Bebe wasn't an a-hole in real life. By all accounts, it was Ford himself who came up with the three car finish. Bebe was well liked.

one of the most memorable details in this movie for me is that when they're fighting, you see shelby reaching around for something to hit miles with and the hand finds a can... but he tosses that and grabs a bag of bread. they don't want to hurt each other. it's just a scrap between brothers.
