When Hamish hugged his mom ,I felt it !!!😚😚😚

Motto of the story: Always tell the child they are adopted - so upsetting and confusing to learn later on in life.

When Hamish met his mom and cried in her arms was such a beautiful display of human connection and raw love. ❤

I thought Kim's mother was so lovely. My heart went out to her.

I’ve been looking for my mother since I left Barnardos, I had it in the newspapers in Newcastle where she was from. The Salvation Army did a lot and found my family. I met my grandmother, but no one knew where my mother was and I never found out. This was in 1964. I’m 73 now and will leave this world never knowing where she was or what had happened to her and now obviously how she died and where she could be buried, it’s been painful and something that I’ve been obsessed with. All I have is a cherished photo that I have framed, I look just like her. I’m writing my memoirs and hope to get it published.

Flip when she said my son, my boy, talk about tears!

I cried through this whole thing. I'm an adoptee who was also able to find both birth parents after my own family had grown. Even though I was in my late fifties, it changed my life—"like frosting on the cake" as my dad said.

find you a fella who looks at you the way donald looks at his wife- you can see how much her pain hurts him. i just burst into tears watching him watch her talk about her baby.

So blessed that even though my parents weren't great, when I got pregnant as a teen there was never any discussion about adoption.

I just want to burst into tears.  Viema is a lovely lady. So generous to give her youngest a better chance at life. Wow.

There's so much relief seen on Hamish after seeing his mum and family. God bless you Hamish & your family in this new turn of events.

I so glad Hamish met his mom a lot of making up for them both and brothers and sisters 👯‍♀️ 💕

I was told at 8 ,quite bluntly.  Not nice , my brother was too and I felt so sorry for him ! . A very confusing conflict of feelings for any child regardless of age . A comfort plan has to be in place for after being told . I had none of that .

15 is way too old to be told you’re adopted, sooner the better I think

I'm sitting here crying my eyes out and 9 month old is looking at me as if wondering what's wrong 🥺.

He looked  sooo happy in the end, that's amazing.

I can feel hamishes mums pain. I almost give my daughter up for adoption. I am thankful everyday, that God strayed me on another path. She will be 11 this week, and is the biggest thing that has ever happened to me.

When Jo cried and hugged her Mom I felt it!!!

I wish I could find my sister.  My grandparents made her put by sister up for adoption because they did not like my father because he was the wrong religion.  After the birth of my sister my father & mother went back to the facility to get my sister but were told that she had already been adopted so my mother and father drove up to my other grand parents home town and were married.  They and another four children (me being one of them) but they always talked about "Victoria."  I became jealous of Victoria because I always thought my parents loved her more than the rest of us.  But now that I am 72, I have more understanding and wish that I could meet her.  Seems she and I look alike because people would always come talk to me as though was someone else or they would say they saw me jogging down Capitol Blvd, or ask me if I enjoyed the show because they were in line behind me (but I never went to the theater).  How I wish I would have talked to those people more.  I would not know where to start.

God bless you sweet Viema,  what a sweet lady.  It seems she has struggled a lot in life
