Theodore Roosevelt National Park is very underrated imo.

if NorthWest Airlines had a bus route

Wisconsin and its small towns are very underrated so glad I moved here from Texas

My goat Mileage Mike showing love to Wisconsin what a great Friday

I absolutely love these "4" series interstates! My home interstate 64 is a similarly long-running highway across much of the country, along with its more southern partner 44. Another underrated Midwest one is 74. The dual 84s have quite fun routes as well. Its a perfect designation for these "medium" or "intermediate" east/west interstates.

What you've identified as the State Capitol Dome of St. Paul is actually the dome of the Cathedral of St. Paul.  Along 94 headed west, the road is too sunken to see the Capitol's dome, which would be to the north or right-hand side as you're driving west. You can easily see it heading east, however.

Appreciate all your videos.

North Dakota and South Dakota use the State Route 1806 designation to commemorate the Lewis and Clark Voyage of Discovery trip along the Missouri River. The highway parallels their return trip down the Missouri River in 1806.  My favorite part of I-94 is the journey from Alexandria, MN through North Dakota to Montana. A sense of tranquility with reflection through the magnificent Great Plains.  Love your videos. Look forward to future offerings.

In November 1995 I moved from Milwaukee, WI to Portland, OR, and drove I-94 out there. On a Saturday morning, I left Minneapolis, intending to make it to Montana by the end of the day. But rain turned to snow as I got closer to Fargo. That wasn't a problem in Minnesota where they salt the roads, but North Dakota doesn't salt. From Fargo to Bismark, I was in bumper to bumper traffic never going faster than 25mph.

I got up early the next morning well before sunrise. Coincidentally I reached the Montana border as the sun was rising behind me, making Montana light-up like the promised land. And once again there was clear, salted road. (BTW... Unlike most states that clear the right lane first, Montana clears the passing lane first.)

I get a little PTSD when I think about driving in North Dakota in the snow and ice. And I plan never to return.

I like how when I-94 reaches Milwaukee, it tries to go around the great lakes forming a horseshoe around it.

1-94 at Ecorse Road is being completely changed  with current road construction

"The Smooth Operator" Mileage Mike posts a video, I WATCH IT!!!  Another professional job. Thanks for all your trouble. A lot of people get to travel the country thanks to you.

I-94 is basically my home interstate. Driven Ann Arbor-Port Huron countless times, driven out to Chicago and Milwaukee many times but past that has been rare, only been to the Twin Cities twice in my life and never further west. Would like to take the whole route one day though

22:46 That’s actually the Cathedral of Saint Paul! A building with a lot of its own really interesting history! The State Capitol was just north of you and usually isn’t visible from eastbound 94.

Ran the whole way from Madison to Billings during Labor Day. If there is an interstate 100, that’s this one

13:15 My wife & I took this tour 2 years ago. Great views!

29:27 Once heard a joke about Minot, ND in a kids show. It was “Minot be perfect, but sure beats South Dakota!” (da-dum tssss) 😂

15:51 I remember when that stretch of I-94 was just 3 lanes each way. WIS DOT and the Illinois Tollway essentially expanded both sides of that stretch of I-94 simultaneously.

31:10 - Medora really is worth your time.  TRNP is gorgeous, especially at golden hour.  Plus you can enjoy outdoor events like the Pitchfork Fondue and the Medora Musical most nights of the week.  Plus they just finished the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library there.

As someone who has driven the North Dakota section of 94 a lot I would say you did a pretty good job summing it up.

My sister in law was an architect for the newish Milwaukee Art Museum. It is a spectacular building and I urge everyone to look at the building if you get a chance. I am not much for the art I am more of a science museum type myself, but there you go
