I LOVE IT! This vehicle needs to be cherished and driven by it's new owner. Fingers crossed to be me on Sunday, no need any cash alternatives

"This car wasn't owned by idiots!" 5 seconds later. "Draggy times should be good!" Haha

Yes, everyone needs a money pit.

Had a 996 turbo in manual when they first came out, as a 25yr old then I really did enjoy it thoroughly.

i remember my older brother looking at these like 15 years ago when they were like 50k

4:13 wheel caps with coloured crests, held on with cable tie eek

I'm not sure I want this for the 0-60 times although impressive! I would want it because it's pure class and I need a Porsche in my life. Fingers crossed again for another week.....

911's are curvaceous, I love a curvaceous model!!

It’s a beautiful car mate, any Porsche is a special car, that’s a beautiful example of one. It’s great you can give access to potentially winning something like this for so little.

Is it my favourite, then that has to be a firm no, I’d love a Boxster 981 GTS with the PDK box. Might be unpopular, but I really don’t care, it’s a personal choice and what you want the car to do for you.

Would I be happy with that particular choice of car, of course. It’s a Porsche, a dream growing up and when I finally grow up, maybe I can get one.

Anyway, in the meantime, I may have purchased a couple of tickets, may as well live in hope than die in despair 😬😉

You could, at the time option an aero rear spoiler

The Turbo wheels are hollow ( light weight) The C4S twists are NOT hollow.. look the same but aint..

Did you know if you blip throttle twice while driving it resets the gearbox and is often quicker.
The gearbox adapts to the previous drive pattern .

Cant find a nice manual Turbo for less than £50k

If the IMS was not so of a problem on late 996s, how come it was still a problem on early 997s?

So lucky in the UK. 4s is 50000 euros in Spain and 75-85k for a turbo

👍🏻

With how expensive these are getting now, they just aren’t good cars for the money anymore. Do yourself a favor, and find a well sorted 997.2. They’re not that much more expensive and they will be far cheaper to maintain, speaking from personal experience here. Ignore all the copium from the comments, the 996 C4S gets crazy expensive to maintain; anyone who says otherwise is living in denial.

A £20k 911 will not be maintained properly because it’s too expensive on parts, so please before you do - get it independently checked. I can’t get past the front lights and the interior personally, not to mention all the creaks and rattles these now have. Try a 997.1 Carrera, better looking, better interiors, same engine. All 997s were wide bodied. Don’t need 4WD, just added weight.

vroooooooom

I need this car in my life. Spent some cash on extra tickets. I’m a dreamcatcher too
