As soon as I saw Darren Lockyer was on this video, I couldn't click fast enough. Legend. I was at the wcc in Bolton in 2007 supporting Saints against the Broncos but I remember being made up to see him play live.

Where does this leaves Mike Eccles who has done an amazing job at London?

Great interview - top
Job . This take over could be huge for the British Game .

Thanks for this guys. Lots of really interesting points to come from that. In terms of player recruitment, one of the problems London has faced is that they have not chosen wisely from Aus when they have had money. The experience of Mike Eccles when choosing players when they've had no money will be invaluable. Off the field is an even bigger challenge though, and it will be interesting to see how they go about that.

If they can motivate the Aussies in London to support it could be a massive development for RL. Darren Lockyer is huge name and it’ll make people take notice.

A lot of very positive things here regarding London. Must keep the likes of Mike Eccles and Will Lovell at the club in some capacity, both great leaders and club legends in their own rights

Great show. I hope london does become strong it's good for the game

This is awesome! I am a Brisbane Broncos fan - love Lockyer. Absolutely a positive move for London and their fans. I started taking an interest in the UK comp in 2023 - chose London as my team solely for the reason they shared the same name. That same year they went up into SL. Unfortunately that didn’t last long but hopefully we are back

In case you don't know, the 'finals' doesn't mean Wembley and Old Trafford. In Aussie rugby league parlance, it means the playoffs.

I think this is fantastic news. Just having Darren Lockyer involved is amazing. It would be great to have the London Broncos back in Super league. These guys know what they are talking about and I believe this can only be a good thing for Rugby league in general 💪 💪

This is all very exciting but please keep Mike Eccles as director of rugby. He is fantastic and the fans love him. ❤️

Entry should be by the league qualifying process not some committee

It's great to see so many championship clubs pushing for super league. Only good for the sport and it's increasing interest.

Be good to see a 16 team super league eventually with a really strong championship below it

Nailed on. Bulls, York and London.

It's hard not to be skeptical with London but they appear to have good people on board again and the potential is so big I can fully understand if they're given a SL slot next year. Let's face it, there's plenty of heartlands clubs that don't reach their potential year after year and who don't offer the global appeal London would.
