Gray Flandro got the idea of planetary Boost from the 1950 SiFt movie, Rocket ship XM . When the Voyagers lunched in 1977, they acted if this idea was new. The writer of this movie should have gotten credit for this idea that was stolen fro this movie😂😢😮

I’ll put those dates on my to do calendar. … if I’m still alive 😂😢😮😅😊

Well Hello again Carol, I'm so happy to hear your lovely voice, I hope you are doing well, I'm now in Hospice care, And you know what that means, Last January my life expectancy was 6 months or less, It's now been 14 months, I'm a tough old man, And I'm going to keep listening to you till the End.🛐 God Bless You! 💞

What a fantastic time to be alive!!!

They can get a signal from voyager probes a million miles away but one cloud blocks direct TV

they should make another 2 with updated lighter hardware and send them out to whatever is aligned properly and then let them drift for the next 50 years like these.

What an amazing engineering feat by all those space specialists.

The Great Oddity: God-like Technology vs. Primal Conflict
We have reached a point where our technology is nearing the "Problem Solver" level. We can edit the code of life (CRISPR), communicate instantly across the globe, and see the birth of stars. Yet, at the same moment, we are using that same intelligence to refine ancient forms of destruction. It is odd that as our evolution of mind accelerates, our evolution of spirit seems stuck in a loop of tribalism and war.
It’s as if we have the wings of a dragon but the territorial heart of a predator.

Makes you think !

BOTH VOYAGERS ARE THE MARVEL OF MANKIND EVEN THOUGH THEY WILL BECOME SPACE JUNK FOR THE PLANET EARTH
HOW ABOUT THAT FOR A BIT OF FLY TIPPING

And today everything is made to fail withing 10 years

Does it still have pictures of Uranus

An 8 track tape recorder on board the Voyagers. What a smile and even a wonderful snicker left my face. I am old enough to remember 8 track units.

Both voyagers have only just under 70 kbs of computer memory

Love the Dr Who graphics.

The velocity will slow from the sun ?

A wonderful voice, reminding us of the mind numbing distances of the Milky Way and of how brief our each individual existence is.

amazing

That planetary alignment should be named the "Flandro alignment" after Gary Flandro who discovered it .

Amazing foresight from brilliant people who took a vision and made history in place of to this very day amazing people are working hard in protecting our Voyagers through sheer brilliance and backward thinking now repair them as well  i thank them very much .  Only. Saying . Cheers .
