Stephen's anecdotes are always "Well i was chatting with the queen..." and then Alan is just "I got drunk"

He is a magnificent story teller. I love his role in Qi, and as they explained in the making of, smart as hell too. I loved Stephen Fry, I thoroughly enjoy Sandy. But Alan being around makes it the class act it has been for over 15 years now. No one is irreplaceable but Alan is inching towards that threshold!

"...that's a stand-up routine I did. That's not true"

I'm surprised that's the only time I've seen someone make that mistake.

"i lost my passport on the plane once, it fell between the seats. but eventually i found it"
-yes?
"that's the story"

Opening the door and accidentally walking on stage with Rick Astley is probably the most elaborate Rickroll ever 😂😂😂😂😂

QI YouTube admin is a god. 10+ mins of pure unadulterated Alan.

Alan’s daughter: Screams in horror after basically disembowelling herself in her bedroom

Alan: 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Alan has had the most rick-rolled of all rick-rolled moments ever

Alan is the ideal pub companion.

Alan Davies is so often the butt of jokes in this programme yet he is always good natured about it and he is invariably funny without being offensive to or about anyone

The story with the frog and the dog was the funniest.

I think Alan would make an excellent childrens presenter, kids pick up on energy, just like animals, they need somebody chill like him.

Alan really is the heart and soul of that show. The epitome of being a good sport!

I work in hotels and every time a fire alarm goes off you always have a handful of guests who think it's only in their room.  The funniest thing is when it happens around check out time and they phone reception saying "why are you sounding an alarm in my room?! I've got another 30 minutes until check out." Yes sir, we actually sound alarms to get people out the rooms, and the really late ones we break the door down with a hose in hand 😂

Only one issue with this: IT'S TOO SHORT, I NEED MOOOOORE

alan rickrolling himself by accidentally walking onstage with rick astley is the most alan thing ever

Stephen is the heart of the show, Alan is the soul.

Long overdue! Must have been hard to narrow it down to only 10 minutes.

Want to be a good story teller? Study the way Alan relates the frog in the water bowl incident. Raconteur Supreme.

I’m not even sure why “What’s mesh??” is so dang funny, but it is 😂
