Been my dream gun for years.

Well id love to own one..

Definitely a stunningly beautiful gun and i like how they seem easy to work on

To me, a Rapid is made in the UK, it's bolt action and has both screw down scope ring and Luxfer alu bottle. This is a US design using the Theben brand to sell in the UK.

Be nice to see your other Rapid/Rapids to compare to this one.🤙
I prefer a nice bolt on a gun rather than a sidelever but that’s my personal choice.
Still have my Mk1 Rapid with Paul Wilson Thumbhole Stock but the downside to it is it don’t have a quickfill so still unscrewing the bottle which can be a pain.
Thanks for the video and I really enjoyed it.
Looking forward to seeing your other Rapids.

Hi Ray,
Thank you for your review of this sublime air rifle. I think your review has been the most indepth, in that how you went through what was inside the case, though not too much.
Personally, I love the Theoben air rifles and their story, and the fact they were British. If you are a fan of traditional and walnut stocks and large buddy bottles, I don't think this air rifle could possibly be more beautiful.
Obviously, it's up to the individual how and what they use it for. I'd guess there'll be people that will buy one, then store it. I'd rather someone buy one and enjoy every ounce of it, whether that's target or hunting. I wouldn't like to get one wet. However, I think the finish is sealed?
If it were up to me, I'd say use it and enjoy it. If anyone missed the timescale, there are some gorgeous laminated stocks from Form.
With great respect, would it be an absolute no-no to consider a sling to hunt? It's just that a few years ago, I had a diagnosis that ended in a mistake, and I think you should enjoy every day. It's a tough call.
Thank you for a fantastic review, and I look forward to Sunday.

My agt vixen is my go to rabbit gun however it has a clicky cocking action which the rabbits definitely notice . My  Airmaks katran/katran sc cocking action is silent just seems more of an effective tool .

absolute dream of a rifle but it deserves some proper glass

Nice rifle, let me know when you want to move it on.

Free Gran for a gun. That sounds like a bag of nail 😮

Beautiful , can I see BSA modified parts on it ?

Does it come in FAC version

So many of the big name airguns copied so much from Theoben, this is the best looking airgun I have ever seen, the Purdey of airguns.

When are you taking it to kevg? 😂

Never seen such a crude looking trigger blade on such an expensive rifle🤔

That’s not a theoben only by name there’s only one theoben rapid and that’s the original version made by British craftsman.

I’m a big Rapid fan and have several of the original pre Mk 2-I versions, I think these are too big and numb and bulky and the firing cycle sounds awful for such an expensive PCP with an  unnecessarily large bottle at 500 cc too , a 250/300 would be better with shorter barrel.
RAW are selling on the back of Theoben which it’s a million miles away from the original rifle, I actually wouldn’t buy one at half the price sorry

The price is ridiculous, after all its still only a fancy pop gun

Is it not made in America.
Its not a true Rapid is it.
The wood is gorgeous one cannot deny but its hardly a british made gun, Taylor probably has had no input abd Theo has been ignored.
I try not to buy anything american - especially while the mango mussolini has his ar5se on the thrown.
I have had (and do have a Rapid) but this isnt a Rapid and typically over priced.
Theoben has gone bust a couple couple of times. If its not the original company then its not an original.😂😂
