This is part 3 of trying to answer the question: what does the end of Project Pan look like?? Today I'm focusing on skincare and bodycare. I go through each category and give my end goals, as well as what I would repurchase in the future and mini reviews on all of these items.

This was filmed back in spring but took me a really long time to get around to editing, so I tried to give updates where possible if anything has changed since then.

Also, you can use the pimple patches that you don’t like for bug bites. It works really well to take down the itch. Have you ever looked for rose water at a grocery store? I used to use a Turkish rose water or orange blossom water that I found at my local health foods market. It was food grade and very inexpensive. I would.keep it in my fridge and refill a spray bottle with it.

I love the Heritage Store plain rosewater (w/o glycerin)! It's the only one that has no additives and is budget-friendly to go through multiple bottles of.

If that retinol is old, there's a high chance it is degraded, therefore you don't get irritated by it. Retinols are very unstable, therefore very sensitive to the use by dates and storing conditions.

I use the CereVe SA cleanser every day, it's pretty gentle and I really enjoy the gel texture. My skin isn't sensitive or fussy at all though so take that with a grain of salt.

Ive been using the Hydrate & Cleanse bar from Good Molecules for my body for a couple of years and really recommend it! It's gentle and nourishing but not heavy or oily feeling. It might be a nice option to try when you've finished your current soaps💖

Definitely start tretinoin rather than over-the-counter retinols. Even my sensitive skin does great on it. I use the cream 0.05% version and when I started a few years ago, I went very slowly. Now I use it every night.

Since you mentioned caring about recycling, have you tried cotton cloths/make up erasers before? They're a great alternative to wipes. I only use water and get everything off with mine.
Also: when you counted the 5 lipbalms you need, you said you want one for your purse. Aren't the SPF lipbalms meant for the purse? Since whenever you're out, an SPF lipbalm would be preferable anyway. Just curious, because that's what I do and I noticed I would grab my normal lipbalm and not SPF ones outside in a hurry or because I packed the wrong one 😅
I really want to try the Nivea lip SPF, but I've found a good option from my drugstore brand and since I try to buy only CF products, I don't have any excuse anymore to get it 😂 Soo many lipbalms with SPF leave a horrible taste in your mouth 🫠 Those I end up using on my hands!
