Regarding “Back on the Stage.”
Ever since his audition, SOTA has said, “I want to dance to the music I create, rather than existing music. My dream is to debut and become famous. That’s because then I can show the world the music I think is cool. I want to be someone who conveys the wonder of music.” He debuted as a member of BE:FIRST, achieved remarkable growth, and became one of Japan’s leading boy bands. In other words, the time has come for him to realize his dream. While staying in Los Angeles to serve as the opening act for ATEEZ’s concert there, SOTA gathered his old friends in Arizona—where the HHI is held—to shoot this video. He packed everything into this video: introductions to amazing dancers active on the world stage, the joy of hip-hop and rap music, and his favorite aspects of American culture. It’s a piece that only he—who has been active worldwide from the start—could create. (Incidentally, this location is also where the music video for AAA—the idol group featuring SKY-HI, BE:FIRST’s producer—was filmed. It’s also a tribute to them.) He’s steadily making his dreams come true. As a BESTY, I want to proudly showcase him to the whole world.
BE：FIRSTはこれをハンドマイクで音源を超える歌唱力でパフォーマンスしてくれます。
