This time, we filmed the creative process and interviewed Kinji Yoshida, a Japanese woodworker based in Osaka.

■ Woodworker: Kinji Yoshida
Kinji Yoshida is a Japanese woodworker based in Osaka. After studying architecture and interior design, he gained experience at an architectural design studio and a furniture company before establishing his own practice.

While creating custom furniture, he began making small wooden vessels from leftover wood, which eventually became the foundation of his artistic career.

Today, he creates wooden vessels distinguished by their unique colors, inspired by the morning mist that blankets the city of Kameoka, while continuing to explore the expressive possibilities of wood through his daily practice.
