Mak Tak-lo, a sensation in the 1970s and 80s known as the "King of Dance," represented Hong Kong at the "World Hot Dance Competition" in London, England, where he won fourth place globally amidst fierce competition, achieving instant fame.

Upon returning to Hong Kong, Mak Tak-lo was heavily promoted by Shaw Brothers, quickly rising to stardom with his handsome looks and superb dance skills, starring in numerous films. As Shaw Brothers reduced its production, the multi-talented artist turned to the music scene, performing for many years in various lounges, nightclubs, and in Singapore, Malaysia, and mainland China. Now retired from the spotlight, he runs a singing and dancing school, passing on his life's experience to the next generation.

Behind the stage glamour, Mak Tak-lo's love life was equally dramatic. He was once married and has a son, but his relationship with Apple (Liu Liping), Hong Kong's first Karaoke Queen, was the most sensational—the two had been lovers in their youth, separated, and married separately, only rekindling their romance in 2003 during a commercial performance. This on-again, off-again relationship, spanning over thirty years, finally ended in recent years due to a drunken slip of the tongue.

In the program, Mak Tak-lo revealed for the first time that after breaking up with his first love, he was extremely heartbroken and traveled to mainland China, where he met his ex-wife. After the divorce, his first love generously took care of his son until he grew up, and the two remain friends to this day.
