The 1980s were a great time with four or five strong sides in the league.Much more interesting than today's matches

Glasgow Rangers when Souness came, I was there too, what a time, what an experience never forget 💙 👏

What a time to be alive. Souness the LEGEND.

Fuck me, those days were simply the best.
Unrepeatable bedlam.

the days before HD.

Souness is a God

Just watched this and hearing them saying they were going for 40 titles and now we are at 55, good times indeed,WATP 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 CHAMPS 55 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍

Fucking loved  Souness!! The guy was an absolute maniac,  a genuine hard bastard that could back it up as well and he could play a bit of ball.  In his prime Souness could have played for any team in the world and would have held his own.
A perfect fit for Rangers.  A true Rangers man and he just oozed class!!

incredible man

The Sports Channel

love souness on the phone - watching the game from the stand and having a good old rant.  got the job done - even when he was banished from the dugout

Still wish he would come to Huddersfield.

Mo ,no qualms about celebrating scoring against his former team .As it should be .Hitting the back of the net is the deadheat best feeling in the world .

2 out of his 5 seasons we had Celtic at Parkhead in the Cup, bit different to the League Cup where we never had them in the early rounds.

Trevor was a great player, I knew that when he signed, don’t understand some of our fans at times

Trevor did get in the England team

This was my first taste of football. Wish they would ban all the cheating and diving today and get back to these types of games again.

He did a great job there but he did get lucky in the fact that when he joined rangers English teams were banned from Europe

Souness wasnt out by gers or scotland suppotrers !

Madness isnt it. Mc coist went to England with Sunderland and did absolutely nothing. Derek johnstone went to England with chelsea couldnt even get a game and done absolutely nothing.  yet in Scotland with Rangers they both broke goal scoring records.
