Nice job. I still think highly of these 70's and 80's vintage Monogram/Revell kits. I had 2 of these B-25 kits years ago when they only cost 15 bucks or so each.  I decided to build the 1/48 Monogram B-29 but modify it into a KB-50J. I used the 4 engine fronts from the two B-25 kits in the scratch built B-50 engine nacelles, as they were R4360's (4 rows of 7 cylinders) in the B-50. They worked out great. Parts from a 1/48 C-130 I was unhappy with became the source of many of the other modification parts required to modify the 29 into the 50.

Nothing wrong with drunk modelling unless you super glue the super glue container to your fingers, which fun fact I've never ever done 😂😂

You are right Drew, they were the straightest vertical stabilizers I have ever seen.
 I used to use silver paint to check seams and take it off with Testors paint stripper.
 I also keep metallics separate so use lacquer thinner to clean those brushes. You see where this is going right?
Of course I don't label anything.

Nice finish you got there! You've got to be able to laugh at your own mistakes to last long in this hobby. I seem to recall the fit issues you note here already existed in the first Monogram boxing; I encountered them decades ago. The original 1:48 Revell Mitchell was a B-25B, IIRC, with raised rivets & engraved panel lines, much celebrated by the hobby magazines at the time, as the only prior kit in this scale was a horrendous old toy-model by Aurora. I built one of the Revell B-25B's in the late 1960's or so & it looked okay for the period. We used to play in one of "Red' Dodge's spare parts planes at Merrill Field back then. I was in middle school & had already reached 6'-2", so well recall how tight the tunnel forward to the bombardier's position was. I had to lean left to crawl through on my hands & knees or my thigh bones wouldn't fit between the floor & ceiling of that space. Pro tip: Lead is malleable, so you could have fit a lot more lead into that tunnel if you really tried. I flatten & stack pieces of solid core solder into solid bricks, CA'd together in whatever shape fits. The nose gear bay is so tightly closed-up that you could have filled most of that space too, if needed. Just "Paint It Black". -Angelika's Husband

This is a super kit for a beginner and an experience model. I’ve built it myself several times. It’s a great kit. Good details, good instructions, and a wonderful kid to build.
PS I like to add that I have brought in the B 25 Mitchell named Berlin express at the Oshkosh Airo in 2024 and it was a wonderful ride

Looks nice. I built this kit two years ago and I was happy with the results, but takes some work. I added a lot of nose weight to mine. Been thinking of building another one.

You may not see this but on tricycle planes put weight in the engine pods, use lead shot and white glue and allow the plane to set pointed down until the glue sets and that will have it set right!
