Here we look at how opponents reacted before and after fighting Mexico’s pound-for-pound star Canelo Alvarez.

Tonight we see him in action against Avni Yildirim, a showdown which many see as a preparation bout for Billy Joe Saunders. A slick southpaw who represents the latest and greatest of Eddie Hearn’s middleweight challengers.

That Kovalev knockout was brutal. I felt so bad for him slumped over the ropes like that

Liam: “I’m a big 154”
Canelo “Beats the shit out of Liam’s brother, who’s a giant 168”

Can you imagine if this guy was to replace the announcers in DAZN. We should vote them in!

Canelo is a master at counter punching. With his added strength and ring work ethic, it will be year's before someone defeats him. Mad respect for a fighter with his skills and humility.

Callum Smith made me laugh 'I expected him to hit harder'. Looks in the mirror and sees the elephant man staring back at him 😂

I remember when I was in Mexico with my family with the Carne Asada and shi, watching the GGG v. Canelo fight was just a moment of pride, especially because he won.
