Great video! As a long time tank I would like to just add this : as a druid tank remember that you are not just a bear but in fact a druid. So when going pull to pull, if you managed to pool rage at the end of a fight and your party is ready to jump straight into the next pack, great! just go in and use your swipe/primal bite for initial threat. But, if you end a fight with almost no rage or if the healer/dps in your party need to stop for a drink, a great way to general initial threat is to pre-cast regrowth+rejuv on yourself and then go into bear and engage the mobs.

This is THE definitive guild to bear tanking.  Period.  Every new feral should watch this.  I've been feral since the very first naxx and I couldn't have done this better, by a long shot.

Shout out to Shifty Claws for guarding the enterance while his fellow druid teaches the initiates about druidism.

Damn, actual important info from someone on the beta; who knew! Amazing, keep em' comming!

awesome video man ive been raiding bear tank tbc all year and I never knew this stuff. its super valuable for you to share this stuff cause its otherwise gated behind veteran communities

THANK YOU for explaining this trivial thing that no one has ever understood. I had a very hard time to explain that in the past 😂

Great, EXACTLY what I was looking for. New to both druid and tanking, and this just hit the right spot! Very to the point and clear explanations. Thank you, good sir!

That rage building now works much much better. Was fun.

Fantastic video! Like and subbed. Would love to see you do a vid on general tanking best practices for Classic+/Forever Bears. Like pulling at range w/ faerie fire, openers, regrowth/rejuv prepul, using raid markers, reminding DPS to run aggro'd mobs towards the tank, LoS pulls, etc. etc.

Great tips man, gonna level duos with my partner and considering going bear. Especially the thing with maul and rage generation, would have taken me quite a while to figure that one out by myself as i never tanked in classic before 😂 11:34

I feel like you present or teach professionally. Great video.

Nice to know how the new rage mechanics work!

You could view Maul as a "rage dump spell" by which it's main use is to consume rage that would otherwise over cap you. That's how I look at it and it helps me not press it as much.

bro i just bought a corsair scimitar and set my interface up just like yours. confidence to tank has been down without my familiar muscle memory but this video has fired me up to take this setup in dungeon! it definitely feels instantly better to never have to take my fingers off of movement control

Very well explained!

I knew demo roar caused threat, didn't know about enrage. thanks!

I love the threat modifier charts for Bear. Do we know where to find something updated for Warrior/Paladin? I am trying to figure out who puts out the highest single target threat at 60 (assuming equal skill/gear)

Love your content

MATE!! Excellent explanation. Thank you

Thank's a lot! I never understood why even if i am use to to tank with war and pala for many years i always struggle with bear tanking in classic now i know! I guess we ll soon see an update on furor xD (0 energy with bear is not a bug )
