Together with our friend @marcelogrecotrenesargentinos, we visited a tiny rural spot where abandonment and silence reign. This place had its golden age at the beginning of the 20th century when Don Eloy Velaz, a powerful rancher of the time, brought life to this small settlement with the fruits of his harvests. Such was the progress that a social club, a general store, a school, and a train station had to be built. Later, its splendor faded due to the closure of the passenger train line. Today we see its solitary and abandoned structures, places that hold stories and that witnessed the progress of this area.

Es increíble lo que paso en este paraje, vimos abandono, pero como lo que encontramos en Colonia Vélaz lo superó a todo.
