My 30s are just me realizing my 20s were actually a very long, very confused rehearsal.

Happy birthday.

I think this is one of your best videos you've ever made

Seeing Kariza’s earliest A-roll footage honestly brought tears to my eyes. That’s the character arc right there. You should be so proud of what you’ve created!

The advice about having to make the bad versions first to build evidence for yourself hit me like a ton of bricks. As an editor, I used to sit in front of the timeline for hours, completely paralyzed, deleting everything because it didn’t match the perfect masterpiece in my head. Lately, I’ve been using my visual journal as a space to completely rebel against that perfectionism, forcing myself to put out really raw, experimental montages where I purposefully let the edits be messy and fragmented just to capture a feeling. It’s terrifying to let the bad versions live out in the open, but like you said, you have to trust that you’ll grow into it. Happy 30th birthday Riza. This was an incredible send-off

No other YouTuber makes a 12 minute video feel like an A24 film. Happy 30 Riza ❤

I'm so glad to see this video when I'm 21.

I'm nearly 66 and I've been following your channel for the last couple of years, and you've just made a statement on this video that I've had to write down so that I can share it in a future video. The statement - It's easy to move through life chasing what's popular, admired or expected of us without ever stopping to ask if that's what we want - you've said that in a way I wish I'd have thought of.
That is so true - I did that until I was 49. You're very wise for a young 'un! Enjoy your 30s! The best is yet to come.

ending got me feeling a little emotional

I spent most of my 20s chasing stability and being “responsible,” while quietly putting my creative side on hold. Now in my 30s, I’m realising that the things I kept postponing were probably the things that made me feel most alive. This video came at the right time. Thank you, Riza and Happy Birthday!

Just today I was having this feeling of how I want to change my life and want to be different from who I am, but I have to walk the walk to be that person, otherwise beating myself up for not being that person is as unfair as it is pointless. I loved seeing your journey and your reflections on how you changed along the way because doing these things and the choices you made changed you.

I am 23 and I do feel so lost, life out there is hard so many things to try and do.

I know that creating content is something I enjoy, creating and sharing a peace of me is so meaningful for me and you have inspired me to do great things thank you Riza.

i’m turning 20 in two days, seeing this before my bday holds a special meaning for me since i’ve been a silent fan and follower of you ate riza… i… dropped out of college in peak of my second year due to financial problems, now im lost. lost where to go, if my ambitions or course could still help me when i really dont have a big trust on myself… but its okay, i’m still slowly figuring it out… i will get through it ate riza, thank you for being my inspiration…🎉 belated happy birthday po!

My 20s were also quite the adventure. I wish I had documented them like you did, but at least I'm documenting my 30s! I appreciate what your 20s did to make you who you are. You inspired me to document and make the best videos I can make ❤ here's to your 30s 🥂

I wish I would have had this at the beginning of my 20s. I am 32 now and after a decade of listening to others and doing what I thought was expected of me and playing it safe, I am now trying to figure out a) who I am without anything and anyone else, b) taking risks and doing the things I really want to and I am still working on c) allowing myself to live without always focusing on pushing to do the work.

I'm sitting here in Coffeeshop in Bali having breakfast and watched your video. I felt everything you sad so much because you hit my thoughts on point. I got emotional in the end from the first time ever watching a video.... Thank you for the video🫶🏽
