Food for thought Warrick on the Swazi gear, looks superb for multi use, Pike fishing / dog walking / hiking in the Peak District etc,  great review. M&S Merino thermals are really good & have used them for quite a few years but did splash out & get a pair of Zerofit Ultimate top & bottoms, work really well in freezing conditions but I think too warm in + conditions. Regarding the Aigle boots,  I bought a pair of Aigle thigh waders back in the late 80's from my local tackle shop, never heard of the brand but as my previous pair had perished & young free & single I splashed out, they lasted at least 15 years probably a little bit longer, the rubber or whatever the material was just did not perish.

Interesting. I have thought about buying one of these for some time and this has made me look once again. I see some negative press now they are not made in NZ anymore. I think they are slightly different now, who knows maybe improved. There’s another brand out there from NZ called Stoney Creek that are slightly cheaper and I’m told very similar.
There’s one thing for sure I would never buy fishing branded clothing.

I have been doing some looking and you can pick these up for £275 right now.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Cheers, Jon
