In the year of 1610, Poland captured Moscow in their war against Russia, where Poland’s Prince Władysław, the son of the Polish-Lithuanian King, was elected as ruler of Russia by the Seven Boyars.
Thus, it looked like Russia was going to get added to the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, however in 1613 Prince Władysław of Poland was deposed as the Tsar of Russia and by 1618 the war ended, making Poland acquire small border territories, but not the entirety of Russia.
