Lead singer/guitarist and drummer were both 21-bassist only 18. THAT's probably how they had such energy.😁

The intensity of 60's music was loud and proud.

This is easily one of the best live performances ever, especially with it just being a 3 piece band,
Mark Farner is one of the most underrated ftontmen ever,
Don beat the skins off those drums,

There is a handful of 3 man bands that were really great and this is definitely one of them. Hall of Fame what are you doing not letting this band in.

Three working class guys from Flint Michigan. For them it was either work on a car factory assembly line or put together a rock band. GFR was hugely popular when I was in high school especially the Red Album - Grand Funk. No railroad :) They just played, high energy, loud loud loud, big fun. Here they didn't even break a sweat. I actually remember watching this, a TV show called The Show. Pretty deep, right? Hey, it was the 60's. On one of their TV gigs they brought in their real inspiration, the great Freddie King. He was one the Three Kings, Freddie, Albert, and BB. Low quality video but worth watching. Freddie BURNS

You know how they got their name? The railroad that ran right through Flint Michigan all the railroad cars used to always say Grand Funk Railroad on them that's where that name come from
