Great advice, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching this episode.! 😀♥️
I think my Savant deck is arriving on Monday. 🤞
Can't wait to get my hands on it after you and Lloyd completely fried me with it during your lecture at Cardiff Magic Society.! ♥️💪

Thank you for the response

Mr Petty! Marketing materials often say, easy to learn or self working because people want to get going with an effect as quickly as possible. But often an effect that takes more time to perfect, regardless of difficulty, can be greater. Like a fine wine. Which effects have taken you the longest to learn, both your own and other creators. Thanks my friend.

Your Destiny Deal video was fascinating. I have never heard lf Plastidip before. Are there other creators who use it? I think the possibilities must be endless.

Great ! Thanks for answering my questions!!!!

I do think rattle dice are bigger than everyday dice. I really can’t switch to another dice trick or do a dice trick Spector will say why where the other dice big?

Question for you Craig. It's a bit of a longer one. A little while ago, I ran into some unexpected financial difficulties, and as a result, I had to sell all of my magic stuff on various Facebook groups, marketplaces, etc. to make ends meet. And by "all my magic stuff" I mean literally everything. I don't even own a pack of cards at the moment. I'm currently in a position where I can begin to start buying some magic stuff again to hopefully put together a small show and start making some extra money again by performing. I could just start buying the same things that I sold, but most of my previous magic props weren't things I ended up using very regularly. It was kind of just a conglomerate of whatever I collected over the years. There were a few good things like a fiber optics set, deck of cards, and my cups and balls, but most of it I never really used in the real world. So here's my question: What props/routines would you recommend to an intermediate magician in my position who had to start over and acquire new props? Maybe like a top 5 would be great.

Craig - thanks, looking forward to your magic for Got Talent video that you mentioned. Another video special you should seriously consider doing is Comedy Magic. You could cover comedy magicians like Cody Fisher, Nick Diffatte, Bill Malone, etc., and the marketed routines they perform that are available to the magic community, pointing out that some of their material (Cody Fisher) can be blue.

Hey craig, thanks for answering my question last week! I noticed something went wrong with the questions not loading so here are the remaining 2 questions. Thanks again!

1: what is the process in how you make a magic routine? Like what are the steps you go through when coming up with a new routine?

2: Do you have a playing card collection and if yes, how many do you think u have?

Thanks for all the great stuff you're doing!!!

Ps, for the person from MCK Magic asking about comedy club advice, try the book "finding your comic genius" from Adam Bloom. He wrote a whole book to help you get started and become a professional and as a bonus hes also a close up magician.

Hi Craig, Great week as always! So much amazing content 🎉. My #question for this week: it is about the blockhead, which obviously isn’t a new effect and have been done by selected magicians who gained fame with it and it worked out for them. Now, you are working on leveling up Matt with this effect hoping it will do the same for him. Aren’t you afraid that two factors hugely diminish his: a) it now is a commercial trick which everyone can download for just e handful of coins - even if the community discusses this quite controversial - and b) the fact the you make Matt learn it may encourage people (and not only magicians) to make this kind of a public domain effect that will be performed by all artists around the world, including but not limited to street performers, who will bring this to the awareness of everybody in the general population?
(WOW. What a sentence - Emmanuel Kant couldn’t have made that longer)
Thanks for your thoughts.

Best resources for learning PK Touch?

4.
Do you know some things magic companies are going to do with black friday?
You work for everyone and their mother so maybe you can spill some juice about black friday?

Keep doing the good work!

Hey Craig! Just got the cheetah index and love it, my mind has been racing with ideas for it, what are your favorite tricks to do with an index?

@michaelpatersondj 2 years ago

Hi Craig, hope you and the family are well. Big fan of the channel.
My question.
I recently dug out liquid forks again but always had trouble with the twist move on the tutorial.
I can't seem to figure out the correct way to do the move. Any tips? Thanks

@Brythemagicguy1 2 years ago (edited)

to meet organizers of events I just messaged one and asked to perform at their event for free.

at the event you meet many ppl that can help get bookings. from balloon twisters to face painters to live bands.

they all see what u do and will ask about you.

I’m almost always asked to come back the next year for a fee.

but you have to always try to get gigs for the people you meet in return

if your seen doing well by other vendors the word often gets to the organizers as well.

Hi Craig thank you for all your contributions to the magic community. I know you like Adam Wilbur and his Vulpine Creations. Just now I got mail from Vulpine telling me about them closing down.
Now I have a two part question. Firstly do you have any insights about why they decided to close down after such a short time and secondly what is your opinion about them closing the company.
Have a great day and send my greetings to Ry (cant wait for the next episode of his ry-umentary) and Matt. I already love the Matt-umentary 2.5 and can’t wait for the next episode

Hi Craig, thanks again for all you do.
My question this week is about “moments of strange” as Paul Harris calls them. Can you give some examples/sources for moments which use magic methods but aren’t framed as magic tricks. Just odd moments that make a spectator do a double take.

Hay Craig;
happy pancakes here thanks for liking my name 😂

Can you please do more videos on book reviews or recommended books I know you always say that it’s difficult because there is so much to read?

Also can you please do more videos on your EDC and Cabaret case?

And are you gonna do the creative process series again

(you don’t have to answer this since its a bit private but is there a way for somebody trying to reach you to get in touch?)

Thanks again
