Waiting for unforgiven 4

Anyone still listening this in 2026??

Still in 2023 "How can I be lost when I got nowhere to go/ How can  I blame you when its me I can't forgive" Even when I turn 90 years old these lyrics will still hit through the heart. Every time!!!

Maturing is realizing that III is the best of the trilogy.

The Unforgiven I - It's their fault!
The Unforgiven II - It's your fault!
The Unforgiven III - It's my fault!

Can't wait for them to write "The Un4given"

5:32 “why can’t I forgive me!” Still puts a tear in my eyes

I wish I could meet James and the rest of the crew in person someday just to thank them for all the good their music has done to my life.

With the piano.  ...this sure is beautiful

The unforgiven III is easily my favourite out of the three

Am I the only disappointed that this song never got an actual music video?   Would have been amazing to see the end of the story.

5 minutes 33 seconds into this song, Mr Kirk Hammett lays down one of, if not, the best guitar solos he has ever came up with. It's a 100% pure Metallica, melt your face off, demands respect shred, by one of my favorite guitarist. Kirk slammed it out of the park on this one. I'll never forget hearing this shred for the first time. Utterly jaw dropping. It renewed my faith in Metallica as one of the greatest metal bands on planet Earth. I will never forget this song for it's insane guitar solo.

If ya need it:

How could he know this new dawn's light
Would change his life forever?
Set sail to sea but pulled off course
By the light of golden treasure
Was he the one causing pain
With his careless dreaming?
Been afraid, always afraid
Of the things he's feeling
He could just be gone
He would just sail on
You would just sail on

How can I be lost
If I've got nowhere to go?
Searched for seas of gold
How come it's got so cold?
How can I be lost?
In remembrance I relive
And how can I blame you
When it's me I can't forgive?

These days drift on inside a fog
It's thick and suffocating
This seeking life outside its hell
Inside intoxicating
He's run aground, like his life
Water much too shallow
Slipping fast, down with the ship
Fading in the shadows
Now a castaway
They've all gone away
They've gone away

How can I be lost
If I've got nowhere to go?
Searched for seas of gold
How come it's got so cold?
How can I be lost?
In remembrance I relive
And how can I blame you
When it's me I can't forgive?

Forgive me
Forgive me not
Forgive me
Forgive me not
Forgive me
Forgive me not
Forgive me
Forgive me, why can't I forgive me?

Set sail to sea but pulled off course
By the light of golden treasure
How could he know this new dawn's light
Would change his life forever?

How can I be lost
If I've got nowhere to go?
Searched for seas of gold
How come it's got so cold?
How can I be lost?
In remembrance I relive
So how can I blame you
When it's me I can't forgive?

I'm a childhood cancer survivor and these songs helped me though those hard times. Metallica is the best, I always wish I could see them live one time before I pass away

1:35 the epic start that was stuck in my head

It takes nothing to forgive others or having others forgiving you, but it takes everything to forgive yourself.

That solo just slaps you right in the face and it is awesome.

how can i be lost, if i've got nowhere to go

Can you imagine how depressed and low you would have to feel to come up with these lyrics 💔🙂

That overwhelming guitar solo at 5:32♥ thank you MR. HAMMETT
