Today, thanks to Numskull Quarter Arcades for providing this machine for review, I’m unboxing and reviewing an Elevator Action Quarter Arcade, a fully playable 1/4-scale replica of the classic Taito cabinet.

I compare it with my full-size Elevator Action machine, taking a close look at the cabinet shape, side artwork, marquee, bezel, control panel, and coin door. Then it’s time to put the miniature controls to work with some uninterrupted gameplay.

The attention to detail impressed me throughout, the controls were comfortable to use, and gameplay felt faithful to the real machine. One comparison note: my vintage Elevator Action is housed in a converted Jungle Hunt cabinet, which explains the difference in cabinet colors.
