Thanks for this great video. Love the variety of fountain pens you have. I will have a closer look to some of them, cause they seem so nice to work with.

Refill cartridges with a blunt needle syringe. FP stores sell them for a couple of quid. 😊

Fude pens are one of the first low-cost, unique pens I purchased as I was prompted to fountain pen acquisition by my quest for a vintage only Pelikan M200 14kg nib with vintage 1940's, 1950's, pre-mass manufacturing Flex activity. It has been quite a journey! I finally got the beautiful green with black strips of my wishes, and it leaks around the grip. It's going to a fountain pen show next year for a nib meister's refurbishing attention - if that is possible. Otherwise, I don a glove when I write and draw with it and call it a day not worrying about whatever microscopic crack etc is causing the ink seepage. My microscope and other jeweler's eye pieces don't reveal cracks, but then I have double vision issues that can obscure clear sight esp up close.

But back to the Fude -- they are fun for drawing and making marks in morning pages and practice pages. I've not done any serious "fude drawings" - yet - but I might be moved in that direction in the future.

Enjoyed the video very much. I refill cartridges with an ink syringe, which should be available in the UK. Sometimes the cartridges have a larger capacity than the converter.

Hi, just found your video. It was very interesting and informative, thanks.
I don't know how familiar you are with fountain pens and ink, so please ignore this if it is irrelevant lol. The scabisosa ink is an iron gall ink, oh which you shouldnt mix because of what iron gall is. I think the colour comes off but there is left a dark grey left behind which makes it kind of permanent. In the Rohrer and Klingner brand, the more waterproof fountain pen ink is there sketchink which has a few colours and are mixable. Also from Cukt Pens you can buy the brand Octopus Fluids Write and Draw which is like the same thing. Diamine has just come out with their permanent line vor fountain pens called Forever. And another new one which says it is even alright for vintage pens is Van Dieman's Professional inks. All of which have different colours you can play around with. I like to write with fountain pens and have my writing more permanent and waterproof incase of accidents and have tried the Octopus Fluids and Rohrer and Klingner. Though some work well in some pens and not so much in others lol.
Loved watching you sketch, I wish I could draw but my perception and hand eye cordination isnt the best 😅.
Thanks for sharing and hope you enjoy your new pens and ink.

What nib is that on the parker vector?

Hi Arati, I saw Sarah Burns using the deAtramentis green gray ink once and had to have it, but even it's from Germany and I am from Germany, I couldn't find it anywhere else but on their website for such a high price plus ridiculous shipping... now I see you using these inks and I wonder.... where did you get them and what did you pay for it? :)) Great and informative video by the way! I have only one (pilot) fountain pen with a converter but don't use it as much as I would like to.
