Mr Shoyan I have been a carpenter for 41 years and consider myself a pretty good carpenter, but watching you I wish I had half the skill that you do.

The part where all the risers come in place one by one without seeing a cut in the video was really well made, such a satisfying effect

As a Scandinavian Carpenter/Construction worker, it is fascinating to watch how building a house or other construction is done in other countries, special with a country with a love for wood.

I don't doff my cap very often but this guy is the real deal.
He keeps his tools sharp and works efficiently. It's a privilege to watch a master at work.

The shavings from the plane are fascinating.

This is like five times higher quality than anything we get in the US my hat is off to you mr. SHOYAN

I absolutely loved the idea of cutting the notch 2mm smaller and hammering edges of the treads to get them to fit. Then swelling them with water. Such a simple idea.

You are a one stop shop. You do everything. Here in the states most trades have specialized. A stair builder might build only stairs. Someone that doesn’t specialize might forget about the floor thickness on the ground floor and the second floor causing stumbling. And they only have to buy tools for that specialty. I have built cabinets and trim most of my work career. But when I work on my own house I do it all including plumbing and electrical.

I’m a licensed contractor in the USA, so I’ve seen a lot of building methods, materials and practices. And I absolutely enjoy watching a truly gifted craftsman like yourself. You are a master craftsman.

I'm nearly 70 years old. As a 6/7 old boy I always wanted to be a carpenter, unfortunately that never became a reality. My grandson is now in a carpentry learnership in Cape Town south africa. I wish I could send him to Japan to learn under a Master craftsman like this gentleman. Wow what an honor to watch you work sir.❤

Did Shoyan ever think when he was younger that his carpentry would be admired by millions of people from all over the world. A true experienced master craftsman!

19:54 I love this. What a great video again. Glad to see that in one corner of the world people still appreciate high quality craftmanship over just rushing it to make it cheap and get to the next jobsite.
