“History & Geography in Tomb Raider” is a fan-made documentary web series that takes you on a journey through the iconic "Tomb Raider" franchise, visiting historical locations and unraveling mythical enigmas alongside its famous protagonist, the globetrotting treasure hunter Lara Croft.

Episode 2 follows Lara on her quest to obtain the mythical Chinese Dagger of Xian in "Tomb Raider II: Starring Lara Croft". On her globetrotting journey she visits the Great Wall of China, the canals of Venice, a deepsea ship wreck, a remote Tibetan monastery and a long forgotten temple while battling a mysterious Italian cult.

This episode is narrated by the wonderful Tomb Raider fandom legend and all-round talent Jenni Milward.

Just a headsup: I merged two of my Gmail accounts the other day and in the process a lot of my YouTube information was deleted. Apparently this also includes my comments and replies so now it looks like people in the comments section are talking to themselves...

I love the backstory of Lara inherited her house from her aunt. I imagine her aunt was the original Lara Croft who went on adventures in wartime and taught Lara everything she knows, and they were both disowned by the Croft family. I'm writing it in my head now 😆

They need to remake TR2 with modern graphics. I think it would serve this game much better than its predecessor.

13:10 the cause for the sinking of the Maria Doriah is actually known: In a cutscene at the end of the Diving Area, a monk tells Lara, that his ancestors sank the Maria Doriah, so Gianni couldn't come closer to his goal of getting the dagger.

Amazing that this is compiled and finished by one person. I can't imagine the work that's gone into it. Thoroughly enjoyable and educational. I cannot wait for the next episode. I enjoy the cinematic, movie like adventure it takes you on.
