Tbh I think it's weird how most Tumblr sexymen like Bill, Sans or Alastor aren't actually prone to romantic relashionships

Someone mentioned the idea of Rosie and Alastor being in an asexual version of a lavender marriage back in in their time and I LOVED it. Platonic auntie and uncle is where it’s at

Cut to the saiki k fandom where the main character repeatedly says he does not care for romance and never wants to date anyone and romantic/sexual attraction alludes him and half the fandom is still like “it’s just a headcanon” or “well he could just be in denial”

It’s really sad how so many people will come up with every excuse under the sun as to why a character isn’t aro/ace like please we barely get any rep as is at least admit you’re breaking canon 😭

in all fairness, as an ace person, id feel kind of infantilized if the ace character in hazbin wasnt completely fucked up in some way. like, every other character is a horrible person, theyre in hell for a reason, and if Alastor didnt fit in with that it could play into the “innocent naive child” stereotype of asexuals.

In the latest cast interviews with Viv, it was said that he is absolutely aroace.  So yeah, no longer ‘he is likely to be’, but ‘he absolutely is, we got the word of God’.

And they explained the ‘ace in the hole’, it was absolutely a way to say that he’s asexual.  If they wanted him to be grey- or demi-, Viv would have clarified in those interviews.

The only reason why they haven’t confirmed he’s aro in the show is that it just hasn’t come up as something to dwell on, thus we get ‘ace in the hole’ and vague allusions to being aro.  Just because it’s not in the show yet, doesn’t mean it’s not canon.  If it wasn’t, I would assume Viv and Amir would have to walk back everything they’ve said in interviews and social media.

I love the fact Rosie is more aware of relationships and sexualities and stuff. She's also really good at helping, Alastor trusts her somewhat and they're friends so he could totally learn from her whether he does that by watching her help Charlie or her helping him with his sexuality from the sidelines it's just a really cute dynamic
